Everything about Zhongshan Dao totally explained

Zhongchan Dao, or Zhongshan Island, is a name that's occasionally used to refer to a piece of land located on the west bank of the Pearl River Delta in China. This area is separated from the mainland by a narrow waterway, and has a population of about 2,300,000. The mainland of Special Administrative Region of Macau is located at the southern tip of the island. The rest of the island (and more than 70% of the population) is part of the cities of Zhuhai and Zhongshan. The area is referred to as an island by some sources, such as the Columbia Encyclopedia. However, this term isn't in general use, and sources such as the governments of Macau and Zhuhai don't refer to the area as an island.
